The fringe is....

Edd Wellesley-Davies

I had a full day off yesterday in the middle of my fringe binge of running my westend fair stall. This was made possible by my other half taking the reins for a day. I tried and failed to have a lie in so i got up, rustled up a nice breakfast off eggs, had a tasty coffee, sat back and watched "inside llewlyn Davis" (i will be very surprised if that is spelt right!) I loved the the scene with the cat in the car. In fact all but one of the scenes with cats. After the film, I realised that 1.) it was a beautiful day outside and 2.) My friends stand up show was starting today. I headed out to catch the bus and entered (very slowly on the worst bus in edinburgh) in to the madness that is edinburgh during the fringe. My first show of this years festival did not disapoint - A tiny room, in an attic, of an old rickty pub, boiling hot, a fan blowing pointlessly in corner and show at 1pm that you would not take your kids to. Perfect! If i dont go to another show this August i've had my edfringe experience!
